Bringing a new baby into the world is no small task. And neither is caring for one–or many–afterwards. In juggling work and home life, it’s easy to get caught up in the stress and forget about counting one’s blessings. Research shows that gratitude helps people maintain more positive emotions, improve health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. Cultivating positive thoughts and feelings is good for your own wellbeing and therefore that of your unborn baby too.
At Nine Naturals we have a lot to be thankful for and want to encourage others to find the things they are thankful for as well! This month, we asked what you were most grateful for this season. See what other inspiring women gave #NNThanks for by visiting our Instagram page or read them here below.
We encourage our readers to recall good memories, appreciate the present, and remain hopeful. But don’t limit it to just Turkey Day, find ways to be thankful all year round!

“I have a newfound respect for parents of 2+ kids. These days I’m grateful for any miracle involving not forgetting more than 3 things a day (a minimum of 3 is a given!). In all seriousness, I’m grateful for my beautiful, healthy family – my endlessly supportive and loving husband, my wildly creative and curious son, and my yummy little baby girl.” – Rachel Blumenthal, Founder of Cricket’s Circle
“This season, after a cross country move to an entirely new city, I am thankful for resilience—from my husband, our three year old, and for BURU. Newness is a blessing. I am so grateful we are embracing this change as a family.” – Morgan Hutchinson, Founder of Shopburu
“We’re thankful for the recent expansion of Mott 50. Anne and I designed the new Mini Mott Children’s Collection alongside our growing families. It was important that our kids have fashionable sun protection as well!” – Monique Moore and Anne Botica Reilly, Founders of Mott50
“I am thankful for being a strong, independent woman who has followed my dream of creating truly natural, healthy cosmetics that help make women feel beautiful inside and out.” – Melissa Buckley, Founder of Honeybee Gardens

“Life is crazy and fun right now as a working mom with a toddler! As Style Director for A Pea in the Pod and editor-in-chief of our blog, keeping current on fashion and social media plus traveling keeps me on the go so I make sure to spend a quiet moment with my son Grey every day. I cherish and am so thankful for our early mornings and evenings we call “relaxing time” where we read our favorite books and snuggle. It doesn’t get any better than that!” – Olivia C Myers, Style Director of Destination Maternity
“I am blessed with an amazing support system. My parents who will always be my role models, my sisters who are not only my business partners, but my best friends, my hubby who loves me unconditionally and my kids who make me smile and remind there is always (always!) something to be thankful for!” – Lori Caden, Founder of Belly Bandit
“I’m thankful for the little things in life. It’s the little things that make up our lives. The bigger events just connect them.” – Kwany Liu, Founder of Bundle Organics
“I’m so grateful this season to have my husband back home from deployment. He was gone for 7 long months which makes me even more grateful that he is back safe. Doing the single parent thing has been so difficult and I have such strong respect for those that do it every day. Now that we are a family of 4 again things seem to be just as they should be… and I’m ever so grateful.” – Erin Schurtz, Founder of Mommi
“What I am thankful for this season is of course my family and friends. I am nothing without them and without their love. Having just recovered from a horrible flu (which my lovely daughter gave me…), I am also thankful for my and my family’s health. As long as I have my health and my family and friends, I really don’t need much else! I feel so fortunate and am excited for this holiday season.” – Yoko Shimada, Founder of Mitera Collection
“So cliche, but truly, I’m thankful for my amazing family. I’m blessed with an adoring husband who supports me through everything and three healthy and FUN children. I’m also thankful that I get to live my dream of running a Company that helps women start their own families.” – Marjorie Goldner, Founder of PregPrep
“I am thankful for our four kiddos and while there never seems to be a dull moment, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I feel like I have won the lottery in hugs, belly laughter, laundry, dirty dishes, late night school projects and most of all, love. Being part of Biotegrity Corp. and Promise Prenatal from the beginning has also been an incredible journey. Whether it’s serving the amazing women who use our line of all natural products or providing prenatal nutrition in areas suffering from poverty and malnutrition, it is a great honor to play a small role in giving babies the best possible start in life.” – Jennifer Sprayberry, Founder of Promise Prenatal
“Right now I’m especially grateful for my husband. I’ve just been away in the US for work for 11 days, and it is wonderful thing not to have to worry about how your family will get along without you. We all missed each other like crazy but I knew that they were back at home in Bondi having a blast together. We both have our own businesses so life is a constant juggling act, but supporting each other every step of the way and trying to have as much fun as possible on the journey makes me grateful each and every day. I also feel grateful that we are able to set a good example to our kids who are used to seeing us split parenting and housework 50/50.” – Sarah-Jane Kurtini, Founder of Tiny Beans
“I am so very thankful for our baby girl, Noah June. She is our everything.” – Sarah Gibson Tuttle, Founder of Olive And June
